Dear Parents/Guardians:

　　Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!

　　About a third of the summer days have just passed, and I hope the children have had plenty of rest, further an interesting but meaningful summer vacation. Based off last winter vacations’homework, I am very excited to say that the chidren performed well in the speech contest. So this summer vacation, I want to give parents a new assignment:

　　For G1-3 Parents：

　　Can you tell your child why you feel proud of having him/her? What’s the difference between him or her and the other kids? In what area has your child surpassed others? Give your child an example to let them know.

　　For G4-6 Parents：

　　When faced with globalization of the environment, society is changing rapidly, but some children are still not able to discuss their families last 3 generations or more as well as the development of their families situations relative to social changes. But for everyone, where someone comes from and where they currently reside is still an important and fundamental issue. Therefore, I’d like to give parents and guardians a small task this summer and ask them to use their personal time to effectively search or to spend time visiting the elderly in your family and to search and find the roots of your family history. Hopefully you can find a celebrity with the same name and use it as an idol to tell your child why you respect the celebrity and what impact they had on the entire family.

　　For G7-9 Parents：

　　How can we support and assist our children in avoiding scripts when giving a speech. After all, the ability to directly face the audience is a skill for leaders in all walks of life. At the same time I hope you can all be a mentor on your children’s system of values, and their outlook on the world, and outlook on life. Have you found a way to communicate with your childen? Therefore, I hope every parent or guardian is able to share their own motto, further inform them based off your own life experience, and how you really reflected on this sentence’s value and significance. Also how did you experience the importance of this lesson.

　　The school believes that the family atmosphere created by parents is also a second classroom where children can be educated, and hopes that parents can assist the school in completing this task.After the beginning of the next semester, the school will still continue to organize the speech competition, so we will have all the children attend this contest and they will tell their story of their family to everyone. They can try all kinds way to tell the story.
